The Chief of the General Staff Meets with NATO Advisory Group Members
From November 21 to 24, a seminar titled "The Role and Importance of the Professional Sergeant System in Modern Armed Forces" was conducted in Armenia for representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces by the advisory group of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" consortium. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
During the event, foreign partners presented the characteristics and development trends of the professional sergeant system in modern armed forces, as well as its role in the armed forces and modern warfare.
The advisory group of the Armenian program for the development of defense education was received by Major General Edward Asryan, Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia. During the meeting, the results of the conducted event were summarized, and pathways for further cooperation were outlined.
