18+ VIDEO: Eyewitnesses report that the bomber detonated the explosive. New footage from the Istanbul explosion

As already reported, a powerful explosion has occurred on Istiklal Street in Istanbul. According to Turkish media reports, preliminary data indicate there are 4 fatalities and 38 injuries.

Eyewitness accounts and footage captured by cameras suggest that the explosive was detonated by a suicide bomber. Turkish authorities have prohibited media outlets from broadcasting live from the scene.

The Russian Consulate is located in the aforementioned street. It remains unclear whether there are any casualties or injuries among Russian diplomats.
