Murad Papazyan Files Lawsuit Against NSS
Murad Papazyan, co-chair of the Council of Armenian Organizations in France and a member of the ARF Bureau, has filed a lawsuit against the National Security Service (NSS), demanding that the NSS remove his personal data from the database of foreigners deemed undesirable in the Republic of Armenia. This information has been reported by the Judicial Information System "Datatelex." The case has been assigned to Administrative Court Judge Hrach Ayvazyan.
It is worth noting that Murad Papazyan arrived in Armenia with his family on July 14, 2022, but at the entry point of Zvartnots Airport, the competent officials did not allow him to enter the country, merely stating that he was on the list of undesirable persons. The office of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan issued the following clarification regarding the prohibition of Papazyan’s entry: "This individual was one of those who organized an attack against the motorcade led by the Prime Minister at the Armenian Embassy in France on June 1 of the previous year. Various objects were thrown at the motorcade, and the vehicle carrying the Armenian state flag was attacked. The situation was only resolved thanks to the efforts of the French police and security forces. Information corroborating this event has been published by various media outlets, and videos are available online. The entry of not only the individual you mentioned but also of other active participants in the attack has been prohibited to the Republic of Armenia."
