Body of Soldier Found at Combat Position, MoD Reports

A 19-year-old soldier's body has been discovered at a combat position of one of Armenia's military units. This information was reported by Aram Torresyan, the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“On September 30, at approximately 23:40, the body of conscript soldier, Private Hrachya Tigrani Karamians (born in 2003), was found at the combat position of military unit N, with a gunshot wound under still unknown circumstances,” the statement said.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
