Now We Are Compiling Lists of Those Leaving Russia: Volodin Details What Awaits Them
Lists of individuals departing from Russia have been compiled since September 21. This was stated by Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, according to rg.ru.
“Now we are compiling lists of all those who are leaving. What do you think, are they going, and no one sees who has gone and why they have gone?” said Volodin.
The Chairman of the State Duma drew attention to the fact that many are leaving their cars at the border. “We should also think about whom to give these cars to. It may be right to give them to the families of the guys who have gone to fight,” he added.
Volodin is also convinced that citizens who are fleeing to neighboring countries to escape mobilization will return to Russia later. “They praised the West and those countries they left, where they are despised, while constantly questioning our country's efforts to create stability in border areas, in Kazakhstan and other states. They criticize us, but now where are they running? To where we have created stability, where we have established the EAEU, where there are economic freedoms, yet they are leaving their country. Later, they will wait for the time that scared them to pass, and line up on the other side of the border. But how will we treat them, that’s the question,” he said.
It should be noted that after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, there has been a sharp increase in the number of people leaving for neighboring countries.
