A member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Judy Chu, made a statement indicating that, "Azerbaijan's aggressive war in 2020 claimed thousands of lives of the peaceful population of Artsakh and led to the displacement of entire communities. The U.S. has no reason to support the armed forces of a regime that continues to perpetrate violence and aggression. This is why I called to end U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan, and why I strongly disagree with the administration's decision to waive Section 907," the House member stated.
