Video: A New Trolleybus Route Section Built in Yerevan for the First Time Since the Soviet Era

The Mayor of Yerevan, Hrachya Sargsyan, announced on his Facebook page that a new section of the trolleybus route has been constructed in Yerevan for the first time since the Soviet era.

"The section is part of the No. 2 trolleybus route (length: 1.1 km) leading to the Horseshoe Pavilion named after Hovik Hayrapetyan. It runs along Shiraz Street from Artashesyan to the 'Klyak' shopping center and will soon be put into operation. I should also note that the Yerevan Municipality has announced a competition for the procurement of 15 new trolleybuses, with the application opening taking place on July 25, 2022," the post states.
