We Have Approximately 1.5 Years: Secretary of the Security Council on Berdzor and Agavno
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated in a conversation with journalists that the issues concerning Berdzor and Agavno have been discussed with the partners in Artsakh since November 9. Grigoryan emphasized that the authorities of Artsakh are working on these issues.
“We still have time to find solutions for both the road and the residents, we have approximately 1.5 years, and we will work with the Artsakh government to find solutions,” Grigoryan said.
Armen Grigoryan highlighted that when they tried to promote the peace agenda, they also spoke about potential problems. “It is not the case that when we have spoken about the peace agenda, we thought everything would be easy; we are aware of the difficulties involved. However, we also understand that in order to ensure long-term security in our region, the viable option is the peace agenda. We will continue to work in this direction, but we also recognize that it does not depend solely on Armenia. This is why we are working with all international partners to advance the peace agenda,” Grigoryan announced.
