“Until 2025, the enemy cannot sever the Artsakh-Armenia connection; after that, ask Aliyev,” Mkhitaryan Hakobyan
Handing over Berdzor and Agavn has been a demand of the November 9 trilateral declaration. The November 9 declaration is a tragedy for me. This was stated by the former head of the General Staff, Mkhitaryan Hakobyan, in an interview with Factinfo.
“The transfer of Berdzor and Agavn is also mentioned in the November 9 document; read it carefully,” he said.
As is known, Azerbaijan is constructing a new road that bypasses Berdzor, which will be the only road connecting Artsakh and Armenia.
To the question of whether there are concerns that the enemy could provoke and prevent the Armenian side from using this road, thereby definitively severing the Artsakh-Armenia connection, Mkhitaryan Hakobyan responded: “Until 2025, they cannot; after that, ask Aliyev,” he said.
