Photos. Boxing European Championship. Bachkov and Bazeyan Reach Finals

In the semi-finals of the European Championship taking place in Yerevan, Artur Bazeyan, competing in the 57 kg weight category, won 3-2 against a representative from Bulgaria, while bronze medalist from Tokyo 2020, Hovhannes Bachkov (63.5 kg), fought against a Hungarian boxer and achieved a decisive 5-0 victory with absolute superiority in all three rounds.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also attended the semi-final matches to congratulate the boxers.

This evening, Armenia will have another representative in the semi-finals. Tigran Manasyan, competing in the 92 kg weight category, is set to fight against a representative from Spain later on.

The finals will take place tomorrow, May 30, starting at 17:00. Bachkov will compete against a representative from France for the championship title, while Bazeyan will face a Belgian boxer.
