Azerbaijan Clarifies the Composition of Delegations for Border Delimitation and Peace Agreement with Armenia
Azerbaijan has clarified the composition of the national commission for the delimitation and demarcation of borders with Armenia, as well as the delegation for preparing the peace agreement. This was announced by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov during a remote meeting of the heads of governments of the CIS countries, without providing further details.
Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that the bilateral commission on border delimitation and security was supposed to hold its first meeting in Moscow at the beginning of this week; however, the meeting did not take place, and the reasons were not specified by either party.
In his speech, the Azerbaijani Prime Minister also noted that despite meetings within the framework of trilateral working groups, there has been no progress in restoring economic and transport links in the region.
