Tragic Incident in Vayk: Rescuers Discover Bodies of Mother and Son Aged 90 and 56

Today, on May 7, a tragic incident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. At approximately 12:50 PM, the emergency services received a call at the 9-11 crisis management center reporting that the residents of an apartment in building number 15 on Jermuk Highway in Vayk were not responding to knocks on the door and phone calls.

According to Shamshyan.com, rescuers opened the door to the residence and discovered the body of a woman in the bedroom, lying in bed, and the body of a man on the living room floor.

The police identified the deceased as 90-year-old Gohar Manukyan and 56-year-old Gevorg Hambartsumyan. The investigation has ordered several examinations, including a forensic examination of the bodies.
