Take Fewer Baths, Avoid Soap: Bild on Getting Free from Russian 'Energy Dependence'

To free themselves from Russian 'energy dependence', Germans should heat their homes less and revise personal hygiene rules by taking fewer baths and avoiding soap, according to a report in Bild.

As highlighted by Российская Газета, this recommendation comes from Germany's Federal Minister of Economy, Robert Habeck, who has called for energy conservation.

The outlet suggests that reducing the number of showers does not compromise personal hygiene. In fact, a dermatologist told Bild that after living for three weeks without soap and water, 'the skin will begin a kind of self-cleaning process'.
