Greece Calls for Sanctions Against Azerbaijan and Aliyev

The parliamentary party in Greece is demanding sanctions against Azerbaijan and personally against President Ilham Aliyev.

According to a statement from the "Greek Decision" party, "The dictator Ilham Aliyev's regime continues its policy of ethnic cleansing against our 'Armenian brothers' in Artsakh." The statement emphasizes, "Greece must always stand on the right side of history and defend international law without any 'discounts.'" The party proposes to implement sanctions against Azerbaijan and personally against Aliyev for the atrocities committed against the civilian population, thereby bringing to the international stage all crimes committed against the Armenian people.
