The US is Deeply Concerned about Disruptions in Gas Supply and Movements of Azerbaijani Armed Forces: US State Department

The United States is deeply concerned about disruptions in gas supply and the movements of Azerbaijani armed forces. This was stated on the Twitter page of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US State Department.

“The US is deeply concerned about disruptions in gas supply and the movements of Azerbaijani armed forces. Armenia and Azerbaijan must utilize direct communication tools for the immediate de-escalation of the situation,” the released statement said.

It is also noted that the US Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried has had important telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov respectively.
