Russia Inflicts Damage on Turkey by Striking Ukrainian Military Factory, Says Cihat Yaycı
Turkish Admiral Cihat Yaycı stated during a television broadcast that Russia is causing significant damage to Turkey by targeting military factories in Ukraine.
In an appearance on a Turkish news channel, Yaycı, who is also an associate professor at the Naval Academy, noted that Russia is sending some sort of message to Turkey by attacking a Ukrainian factory that is vital for Turkey's military industry.
He mentioned the 'Zorya Mashproekt' factory, which was bombed by Russian forces, emphasizing that Turkey had signed a contract with this factory to jointly produce engines for Turkish UAVs, ships, helicopters, and airplanes.
The Turkish admiral stressed that Turkey should bring the engineers from this factory to Turkey in order to develop its national defense industry.
