Switzerland Imposes Financial Sanctions on Russian Banks and Businessmen
Switzerland is imposing financial sanctions on three Russian banks and introducing travel restrictions on 361 members of the State Duma. This announcement was made by Switzerland's acting president, Ignazio Cassis, as reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Cassis, sanctions will be applied to three banks and 361 Russian lawmakers, along with several Russian businessmen. This measure aims to prevent potential circumvention of EU sanctions imposed against Russia through the Confederation's territory. Cassis did not specify which banks would be subject to the restrictions.
