“Who Are They Redirecting That Money To?”: Sona Ghazaryan
“I am compelled to address the latest acts of hatred carried out by Azerbaijan, particularly the statement made by Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture, Anar Karimov, regarding the cleansing of traces of Armenian cultural heritage,” said Sona Ghazaryan, a parliament member from the ruling party, during today’s National Assembly session.
“I want to appeal to the international community and say that this policy pursued by Azerbaijan is a challenge to the urgent measures taken by the International Court of Justice on December 7, 2021, and also remind our EU partners that $2.1 billion is being directed to a country that is not only characterized by an authoritarian regime but also by vandalism against its neighbors and a policy of destroying historical and cultural monuments,” she noted.
“Who are they redirecting that money to and for what purposes will it be used?” the parliament member pointed out.
