Moscow May Use Fake Video to Blame Ukraine Armed Forces, US Press Secretary

US intelligence has gathered information about the preparation of a fake video by Moscow to accuse the Ukrainian armed forces of causing civilian deaths in Donbas or nearby Russia, US State Department Press Secretary Ned Price stated during a press briefing today.

US Deputy National Security Advisor Jonathan Finer clarified to reporters that Washington is not certain whether Russia will indeed act using such a method, but they are aware that this option is being considered.

As previously reported, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded to these statements, noting that such materials have been published in the US before, but nothing has followed from them.
