A Constitutional Reform Commission Established by the Decree of the President of Artsakh
The President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, has established a constitutional reform commission by decree. This was reported by the official website of the President of Artsakh.
“Based on the necessity to improve the balance of powers between branches of government and enhance the effectiveness of public administration, and guided by point 7 of Article 93 of the Constitution of the Republic of Artsakh, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, signed a decree on January 31 to create a constitutional reform commission under the President of the Republic of Artsakh. The individual composition of the commission has been approved, headed by Araik Lazaryan, the head of the Government Affairs Management of the Presidential Administration of Artsakh. According to the decree, the commission is tasked with presenting the concept of constitutional reforms of the Republic of Artsakh to the president within a three-month period,” the statement notes.
