Despite Price Increases, People Are Starting to Live Better: Minister of Economy
The economy recorded a real economic activity indicator of 5.2 percent in the first 11 months. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan during a press briefing, responding to questions about when citizens would feel the positive impacts of the Ministry of Economy's work regarding price increases and other issues.
"This means that, despite all the price increases, the economy has still grown by 5.2 percent in real terms. It means that, regardless of the price hikes, people are beginning to live better," he said.
In response to a journalist's observation that people around him do not share this opinion and that surveys show a different picture, Kerobyan replied that there are various circles, but one must consider not just individual cases but the statistics as a whole.
