Putin and Pashinyan Held a Phone Conversation
At the initiative of the Armenian side, a phone conversation took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
"The practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements recorded in the trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021, were discussed, including issues related to the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
It was noted that it is expedient to continue work through the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Russia, the USA, France). Given Armenia's current presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the prospects for further cooperation within the CSTO framework were discussed.
At Pashinyan's request, the President of the Russian Federation briefly informed about the ongoing negotiations regarding Russia's security guarantees with the USA and its allies," the statement said.
