Tigran Avinyan Elected Chairman of Polytechnic Council
Tigran Avinyan, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia Foundation. This information was announced by the university's press service.
It is noteworthy that the first meeting of the newly formed Board of Trustees took place today. Avinyan was nominated for the position of chairman by Ashot Khachatryan, the head of the university's Department of Physics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and professor. He was elected unanimously.
It is important to remind that the new composition of the Board of Trustees of the National Polytechnic University was approved on December 27, 2021, by the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
