Movement of Four Azerbaijani Soldiers Towards Armenian Territory Must Be Recorded, MP Says
Member of the National Assembly from the "I Have Honor" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, posted: "The incident involving the shepherd who was abducted by Azerbaijanis in Tegh village and later returned to his homeland with the help of Russian soldiers clearly demonstrates the level of protection for border communities, or rather, their vulnerability. If our shepherd was found near Azerbaijani positions, then the forces stationed in that area should have prevented his entry into a dangerous zone.
If even our compatriot's entrance into a hazardous zone was not prevented, then the movement of four Azerbaijani soldiers towards the Armenian side of the border, as well as the struggle and abduction of our shepherd, should have been recorded. By the same logic, Azerbaijanis could descend towards the Goris-Tegh-Stepanakert highway, provoke a confrontation, and this could go unrecorded and unprevented.
I do not know how many times we need to talk about the issues and their solutions when for this government, the 'solutions' are framed within the Armenian-Turkish romance and unrequited love with Azerbaijan."
