Will Hayk Marutyan Resign? Grigor Yeritsyan Provides Details
Grigor Yeritsyan, a former member of the Yerevan Council, stated in a conversation with journalists today, "Hayk Marutyan will not resign, but I am confident that this process of distrust will occur, and this will be the first time in the history of newly independent Armenia that a mayor is removed through a vote of no confidence."
Yeritsyan pointed out, "The deputy mayor will occupy the mayor's position, which I believe will lead to a crisis in urban governance." He noted that the way to overcome the crisis is through early elections for the Yerevan Council.
