Armenia's Borders Have Not Changed: Pashinyan
The borders of the Republic of Armenia have not changed, and Armenia continues to operate based on the same borders outlined in the "Law on the Administrative Territorial Division of the Republic of Armenia" adopted in 2010. This statement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from the podium of the National Assembly, responding to MP Arthur Ghazinyan's question about what he considers to be the border of the Republic of Armenia.
“We are currently operating based on that reality, which does not mean that it is 100 percent accurate. We state that the Azerbaijani armed forces have violated our borders in the Sotk-Khoznavar area, while in other parts we have a certain status quo. The territory of the Republic of Armenia is what was fixed in 2010,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
According to him, it is another matter that there are issues related to the demarcation and delimitation of those borders.
