There is No Order for Mandatory Vaccination: Ministry of Defense

Both in society and the military, serious explanatory work is being done regarding the importance of vaccination against coronavirus. This was stated in an interview with Auroranews by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, addressing the question of whether there is an order for mandatory vaccination within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

“Nonetheless, there is simply no order for mandatory vaccination. Moreover, in terms of vaccination rates, the Armed Forces record significantly higher indicators compared to the civilian population,” the agency noted.

Recall that shortly before, lawyer Hayarpi Sargsyan mentioned, “I just received an alert from one of the military units that soldiers have been lined up, ordered to step out of line those soldiers who are not vaccinated, and informed them that if they do not get vaccinated, they should prepare reports. Additionally, these soldiers underwent testing, which was negative. The Ministry of Defense will be informed shortly.”
