New Year Holidays' Non-Working 7 Days Stifle the Economy, Says Kerobyan
The non-working 7 days during the New Year holidays stifle the economy. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, during his closing remarks at the National Assembly.
It is worth noting that the issue of reducing the New Year non-working days is being discussed in parliament. According to the minister, they have presented appropriate justifications, but in his speech, he found it necessary to emphasize more on the civilizational and philosophical aspects of the bill rather than the numerical ones.
“We have serious plans regarding how we will increase labor productivity in Armenia because that is the only way people can start living better. Our work is not limited only to this bill, but it is very important in terms of emphasizing attitudes towards work,” stated Vahan Kerobyan.
