Secretary of the Security Council, where were you when the enemy drew the border with GPS, now you blame the Human Rights Defender: Taguhi Tovmasyan
“The information reported by the Human Rights Defender that Azerbaijani armed forces have been reinforced near villages in Gegharkunik is credible. I have repeatedly stated that Azerbaijanis are building a road towards our areas; what their purpose is has gone unanswered,” said Taguhi Tovmasyan, a member of the "Honorary Duty" faction, in an interview with 24News.
She was responding to the Ministry of Defense’s statement that there are gross inaccuracies in the Human Rights Defender's remarks about the fortification activities carried out by Azerbaijanis in certain areas of Gegharkunik province.
“Azerbaijanis have invaded Armenian territory and are manifesting themselves, while we blame the Human Rights Defender—this is absurd. As a country, we must serve common interests; we cannot serve different interests within our country. Aliyev can take the Ministry of Defense's statements and bring them to international bodies, where Arman Tatoyan knocks on doors and says that Azerbaijanis have entered our sovereign territory, obstructing our country's rights. The Secretary of the Security Council claims that the Human Rights Defender is biased, but where were you when Azerbaijanis were drawing the border with GPS? You were next to the MP and the Human Rights Defender standing with the citizens,” the MP emphasized. More details in the video.
