Goris-Kapan Road Has No Connection to the Route Leading to Artsakh, Says Nairi Hovhikyan
Journalist Nairi Hovhikyan's post states: "The Goris-Kapan road has no connection to the route leading to Artsakh. There is a misconception circulating among us that 'Azerbaijanis are stopping Armenian cars on the Goris-Kapan road that leads to Artsakh.' Dear compatriots, if those spreading such falsehoods had been to Artsakh or Kapan at least once, they would know that the road from Goris to Kapan has no connection with the road from Goris to Stepanakert. They are in completely different directions.
I am attaching a map with clear markings to provide a visual understanding of where these roads are located. However, it would be better to go and recognize our homeland, to be in Syunik, Artsakh, Tavush, and our other paradises, instead of having barbecue parties on Saturdays and Sundays and toasting to patriotism with friends. We should practice loving our homeland rather than expressing it merely in a glass.
There are no Azerbaijanis on the road to Artsakh. We see them only near Shushi, but we do not interact with them; we see them from a distance. Traveling to Artsakh is not dangerous."
