Turkish Private Jet Lands in Yerevan, According to 'Pastinfo'
'Pastinfo' reports: A Turkish private plane has arrived in Yerevan and then took off again. As the flight was conducted on a private jet, it is not possible to determine the aircraft's origin or destination on the flightradar platform. It is only known that the actual departure time was at 16:31, and the aircraft is currently in Turkish airspace.
According to preliminary information, the plane arrived in Yerevan from Ankara. It should be noted that, in addition to the president and prime minister, only three individuals from the Turkish government use private jets: the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defense, and the official representative of the Turkish president, Ibrahim Kalin. The first two are in New York with Erdoğan.
Recall that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated during a conversation with journalists that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had proposed a meeting through Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The spokesperson for the Armenian Prime Minister did not deny this information. Mane Gevorgyan had reported on September 20 that there had been no contacts between Armenia and Turkey.
Andranik Hovhannisyan reports on his Telegram channel that representatives of a Turkish delegation were most likely in Yerevan on an unofficial visit. The user claims that this year alone, Nikol Pashinyan has had three meetings with representatives of the Turkish delegation in Kazan, Almaty, and Batumi.
Hovhannisyan expresses concern that upcoming meetings may be public. He believes that the prospects for establishing diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey have been discussed, but Turkey demands that Armenia fulfill three conditions: "Sign a final agreement to open a transportation corridor through Syunik. Refrain from recognizing the Armenian Genocide on the international agenda. Ratify the Treaty of Kars, which means Armenia renouncing territorial claims against Turkey. At the same time, Armenia must initiate the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan," Hovhannisyan wrote.
