Azerbaijan Proposes Occupied Shushi as Turkic Cultural Capital
Azerbaijan has proposed the occupied Armenian city of Shushi for the title of the 2023 Turkic World Cultural Capital. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Anar Karimov on his microblog on Twitter.
The official presented the proposal at the 38th ministerial meeting of TURKSOY, which took place in Khiva, Uzbekistan.
