A New Road Monitoring System to Be Implemented in Armenia
A new monitoring system for interstate and republican significance automobile roads will be implemented in Armenia in the near future. According to ArmLur.am, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia is proposing to introduce this new road management system starting January 1, 2023.
This system will allow for monitoring of the roads through an interconnected mobile application and the 'Monitoring' section of the Road Network Management System.
The mobile application will enable the responsible party for interstate and republican automobile roads to conduct monitoring functions on a digital platform. The road network management mobile application, which can be downloaded onto smartphones, will allow clients to see and track the movement of engineers from the servicing organization during inspections.
But that’s not all; it turns out that the costs of servicing automobile roads will increase in line with inflation from 2010 to 2021.
