Armenia Appoints New Ambassador to Greece
Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian has appointed Tigran Mkrtchyan as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic.
The presidential decree states, in particular: “Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister, in accordance with paragraph 2 of part 1 of Article 132 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 14 of the law on Diplomatic Service, Tigran MKRTCHYAN is appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic (residence: Athens).”
