Azerbaijani-Turkish Military Exercises Considered a New Challenge by Official Stepanakert: Lusine Avanesyan
Official Stepanakert considers any actions carried out in the territories of Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijan, including the joint Azerbaijani-Turkish military exercises, as a new challenge. This was stated in an interview with NEWS.am by Lusine Avanesyan, the spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh.
"Not only these exercises but also any events occurring in the territories of Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijan are viewed as a new challenge that we must be prepared for, and all steps taken by the authorities of Artsakh are based on this principle," noted Avanesyan.
According to the spokesperson, there are ongoing discussions regarding the mentioned processes with the command of the Russian peacekeeping mission stationed in Artsakh, but she refrained from providing further details.
