‘Hayastan’ and ‘Pativ Unem’ factions have filed a petition to the Constitutional Court
Today, the ‘Hayastan’ and ‘Pativ Unem’ factions of the Armenian National Assembly have submitted a petition to the Constitutional Court, contesting the constitutionality of the decision made on August 2, 2021, to elect Alen Simonyan as the Chairman of the National Assembly. This was reported by the ‘Hayastan’ alliance in a statement.
Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the ‘Hayastan’ faction, will act as the representative in the Constitutional Court.
