Hidden Drugs Found in Toothpaste
On June 25 of this year, around 5:30 PM, the officers of the ‘Armavir’ penitentiary institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, acting on operational information, inspected a parcel brought by citizen S.H. for the sentenced individual G.M. using an X-ray machine. During the inspection, they discovered a white crystalline substance weighing 2.84 grams, resembling methamphetamine, packaged in a polyethylene bag and hidden within a tube of toothpaste.
Materials are being prepared on the incident, and a forensic chemical examination has been appointed.
