During a meeting with residents of Dilijan, Nikol Pashinyan stated that "they will not allow false elites to reproduce." He emphasized, "If necessary, we will make a revolution, another revolution, as many as it takes for the elites, starting from the spiritual to the political, to humble themselves before their own people: You are not the masters, you are servants; you will no longer be masters in Armenia. All of you must serve the people humbly. People, they cannot stand it when you come out of your houses; they want you to live, breathe, and exhale with their permission. No, that will not happen," declared the candidate for Prime Minister from the Civil Contract party.

Addressing the media landscape, Pashinyan noted, "Today, the media landscape in Armenia has turned into a real dump. How to regulate it? We must encourage the journalistic community and create certain mechanisms through the law to establish ethical standards by the journalistic association itself. There should be specific restrictions for violating ethical norms," Pashinyan stated during the pre-election meeting in Dilijan, adding, "Why should public officials have ethical standards? The same should apply to the media sector. Today, there are people in this field who resemble killers more than journalists."
