Change Made to Sputnik V Vaccination Protocol
The opportunities to use the "Sputnik V" vaccine against COVID-19 have been expanded, according to the Ministry of Health's press service.
With a change to the order of the acting Minister of Health, the vaccination age threshold for chronic patients using the "Sputnik V" vaccine has been removed.
Thus, vaccinations with "Sputnik V" are now intended for at-risk groups, including healthcare workers aged 18 to 54, chronic patients over the age of 18, and residents and employees of social care centers aged 18 to 54.
It should be recalled that three vaccines are currently used in Armenia against COVID-19: "Sputnik V", "AstraZeneca", and "Covovac."
