Coronavirus Infection Rates Show Downtick
As of May 20 at 11:00 AM, Armenia has recorded 191 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infections to 221,559. This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
The total number of tests conducted has reached 1,050,075, with 3,663 new tests performed in the last day. Currently, there are 6,146 patients undergoing treatment, which marks a decrease of 290 over the past day.
According to the latest data, 209,980 individuals have recovered, with 472 recoveries reported in the last day. During the same period, 7 citizens have died as a result of the coronavirus, raising the total death toll to 4,364. The previous day, 2 deaths were recorded where the patient tested positive for the coronavirus, but the cause of death was attributed to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 1,069.
