Takhouhi Tovmasyan on the Altercation at the Gegharkunik Border
Reports have circulated in the media that Azerbaijani soldiers who entered the Gegharkunik region engaged in a dispute with Armenian border guards. In an interview with ArmDaily.am, independent MP Takhouhi Tovmasyan confirmed that she has received information indicating that such an incident indeed took place.
“According to the information I have received, an altercation occurred between Azerbaijani and Armenian border guards, but I have no information regarding today's developments,” Tovmasyan stated.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Defense informed us that the dispute occurred with soldiers blocked by our forces. It was resolved quickly, and the situation is currently calm and stable.
