Terrorists Who Aim Guns at Women and Children Have No Nation, Religion, or Honor: Kadyrov
The Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on the tragedy that occurred at the Kazan sports complex, emphasizing that "terrorists who aim guns at women and children have no nation, religion, or honor." On May 11, at the Kazan No. 175 sports complex, gunfire resulted in the deaths of seven children and a teacher, with 21 others injured, according to Tatarstan authorities.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that the gunfire claimed the lives of seven children, while 16 students and staff were injured. The Republic's leader, Rustam Minnikhanov, stated that a 19-year-old youth organized the shooting, and he possessed officially registered weapons. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons).
"I have repeatedly said that terrorists who aim guns at women and children have no nation, religion, or honor. They are sick animals driven only by a desire to kill weak and defenseless people. I am convinced that law enforcement agencies will conduct a thorough investigation into all circumstances of the case," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Kadyrov also expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, as well as to the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. "We, along with the entire country, deeply condemn this horrific crime. I hope the court will impose the maximum punishment on the criminal according to the law," he stated.
