Details on Lavrov's Planned Discussions in Azerbaijan

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has traveled to Baku on a working visit. According to RIA Novosti, he is already in the capital of Azerbaijan. It is noted that in the evening, Lavrov will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. On May 11, concluding his visit, Lavrov is scheduled to hold talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

As reported by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the visit will address a wide range of issues related to bilateral and regional cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, as well as collaboration on the international stage. Priority attention will be given to the practical aspects of the implementation of the statements made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021.
