It Is Unjust Not to Grant Any Opportunity to Those Who Avoid Military Service: Hayk Sargsyan
It is unjust not to grant any opportunity to those who have avoided military service. This was stated today by Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the "My Step" faction, during the discussion of a bill proposing an amnesty for individuals who have evaded military service.
He recalled that the bill suggests declaring an amnesty for individuals who have avoided mandatory military or alternative service, who turned 27 by September 26, 2020, as well as reserve officers who turned 35. The amnesty would apply to those suspected, accused, or convicted of committing a crime under the first part of Article 327 of the RA Criminal Code.
