Nikol Pashinyan Discusses Relations with Russia
It is important that the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia be free and legitimate. This was stated by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with a correspondent from "Izvestia," as he participates in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kazan.
“It is crucial that the elections are free, and that the citizens of Armenia have the opportunity to elect a new parliament under conditions of legality and free expression of will,” Pashinyan said.
In response to a question, the acting Prime Minister emphasized that he has no disagreements and will not have any with Acting Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and other members of his political team. Pashinyan highlighted that he and Avinyan are political allies.
Speaking about the prospects for relations between Yerevan and Moscow after the elections, Nikol Pashinyan noted that there is no need to even discuss that issue. “Relations with Russia have been, are, and will be good,” he emphasized.
