Who Will Be in the Top Ten of Robert Kocharian's Electoral List
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "It is already becoming clear who will be in the top ten of the electoral list headed by Robert Kocharian. In any case, based on information from several sources, the list will look as follows: it will be headed by Robert Kocharian, the second position will be occupied by the representative of the ARF Supreme Body, Ishkhan Saghatelyan. The third position must be a woman. After long deliberations, Robert Kocharian's choice for the first female candidate has ultimately remained on the former Minister of Justice, Arpine Hovhannisyan, who moved from the Republican Party to Kocharian's camp. The fourth and fifth places will possibly be occupied by generals Seyran Ohanyan and Yuri Khachaturov. The second woman on the list will be ARF member Lilith Galstyan. One of the ARF's conditions is that there should be equal representation on the list, which has been understood by R. Kocharian. Following that, the leader of the other allied party, "Reborn Armenia," Vahe Hakobyan, will be on the list. Next will be R. Kocharian's long-time associates, Armen Gevorgyan, Vahe Hovhannisyan, and Elinar Vardanyan. They are still colleagues from his presidency who have remained loyal to the second president of Armenia. In the second ten will be the former Republican MP, the son of the owner of "Tashir," Karen Karapetyan—Vahe Karapetyan, Karen Tjshmarityan, and others."
