Robert Kocharyan on the Recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the US President
The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, has issued a statement regarding US President Joe Biden's announcement on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
“US Presidents have long avoided the precise formulation of events from a century ago. They have compromised at the expense of truth for the sake of political interests. Justice has finally prevailed. While expressing gratitude to President Biden, I would like to congratulate all our patriots who have fought for this recognition for decades. Special congratulations go to all representatives of the Armenian Cause offices. Thank you:
Robert Kocharyan
