Azerbaijan Orders 40 Electric Locomotives, Confident that Connection to Nakhichevan via Meghri is Inevitable, There is an Agreement - Bagratyan
The former Prime Minister of Armenia and economist Hrant Bagratyan has announced on his Facebook page that Azerbaijan has ordered 40 electric locomotives in Kazakhstan.
Bagratyan's post states: "Azerbaijan has ordered 40 AZ8A electric locomotives in Kazakhstan. This factory was constructed in collaboration with Alstom. The order has already been fulfilled by 50%. Therefore, Baku is confident that the connection to Nakhichevan via Meghri is inevitable. Why are they so confident? It is evident that there is an agreement with the Armenian authorities. Why aren't the Armenian authorities informing the public about this?"
He adds, "Now do you understand why Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are visiting Syunik one after the other? There is an issue of trying to win over the people and deceiving them once again."
