As Soon as He Resigns, We Will Start the Next Day: Robert Kocharian
Upcoming snap elections will be bipolar. This forecast was made by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, during a meeting with his supporters.
"The elections will be bipolar, and what the government is doing today regarding me or the possible coalition I will lead is that they are campaigning in my place. They are supporting and will continue to support the formation of this pole," Kocharian said.
In response to the prevailing view that the government has already begun its election campaign while the opposition is lagging behind, Kocharian countered, "As soon as he resigns, we will start our work the next day."
Recall that on April 6, during the live broadcast of the 'Pozner' program, Kocharian announced that he would participate in the National Assembly snap elections with a coalition that is most likely to consist of two parties. The identities of these political forces have not yet been disclosed. However, media reports are circulating that one of them could be the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
