There is No Threat to Armenia's Territorial Integrity in Aliyev's Words, Says Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
The statement by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the "creation of a corridor in Zangezur" does not contain any threat directed against Armenia's territorial integrity. This was conveyed in a clarification from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by TASS.
It is worth noting that Aliyev made another threatening remark towards Armenia in a recent interview with a local television channel, stating that if Yerevan "refuses to provide the Zangezur corridor, which would connect Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan, Baku will take action by force."
In response to Aliyev's latest threats, Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that Armenia will take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
